Be Fit Clinics: As an advocate for healthy living, the Atlanta Dream is dedicated to supporting non-profit organizations committed to health and wellness. To encourage youth to incorporate physical fitness into their daily lives, the Dream conducts "Be Fit" clinics at elementary schools, afterschool programs and recreation centers in the metro Atlanta area. "Dream Pink" Breast Cancer Awareness: Dream Pink is an initiative focusing on generating awareness and educating women about breast cancer. Each season, the Dream hosts a "Dream Pink" game during which all game and entertainment elements are built around the theme of breast cancer awareness. The 2011 Pink Game is scheduled for August 7. ** |

Team of the Week:In partnership with WXIA's Operation Basketball, the Dream honors top local high schools girls teams with the "Team of the Week" award, presenting the winners with an official Atlanta Dream game ball autographed by the team. Operation Basketball airs each Friday on WXIA during the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscast during girls basketball season. More Information |

High School Halftime Mania: During high school basketball season, the Atlanta Dream brings the halftime excitement of a professional game to local girls basketball games. Eight high schools are selected to have the "Dream" halftime experience brought alive at their own high school gym. More Information

Armed with a Dream: The Dream honors a patient from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta through a partnership with Aaron's. At each home game, Dream players wear a temporary tattoo with the patient's name as part of the "Armed with a Dream" program. Each honoree is recognized on court and presented with a signed basketball. More Information |

Nothing But Nets: Nothing But Nets is a global grassroots campaign to save lives by preventing malaria, a leading killer of children in Africa. Every 30 seconds, a child in Africa dies from malaria. You can save a life. The Dream encourages individuals to donate $10 to "send a net, save a life." More Information |

Dream Dads: The Dream partners with celebrity fathers making a positive impact in the community through the “Dream Dads” program. The program is an extension of the WNBA’s Dads & Daughters campaign, which encourages dads and daughters to spend time together while forging a lasting bond through the game of basketball. |

Read to Achieve: Read to Achieve is a year-round, league-wide initiative that promotes the values of reading and on-line literacy and encourages families and adults to read regularly with young children. Atlanta Dream players regularly read to youth at local elementary schools and afterschool programs to encourage them to make reading a lifelong habit. |

Player Appearances: Atlanta Dream players make over 200 appearances in the community each year. Dream players can be found all across the metro Atlanta area, whether it's building a house with Habitat for Humanity, reading to elementary school students, visiting local hospitals or encouraging youth to get fit.
