WNBA to Celebrate NGWSD

The WNBA and its teams will celebrate the 26th annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) on Feb. 1. Through WNBA Cares, the WNBA family will conduct fitness clinics, speaking engagements and workshops in markets across the country to help lead, inspire, and create positive change in the lives of women and young girls.

2012 WNBA Season Tips Off May 18

The WNBA will tip off its 16th season on Friday, May 18, when two of the league's top stars square off as Candace Parker and the Sparks visit Sue Bird and the Storm as part of WNBA Tip-Off presented by Boost Mobile. Ross Named Sparks Head Coach

The L.A. Sparks have named Carol Ross as the team's new head coach. Ross spent the past three seasons as an assistant with the Atlanta Dream and previously was a head coach at Ole Miss and Florida, guiding her teams to 12 NCAA Tournaments.
